Those who enjoy acquatic sports, such as sailing, yachting, windsurfing and waterskiing can practice these sports in organised sports centres on the lakes around Rome, such as the volcanic crater of Bracciano and Trevignano.  Saltwater enthusiasts don’t have to travel far to reach the seaside towns of Ostia and Sperlonga.

Wind surfing is particularly popular in the Colli Albani area around Rome, with its many lakes.
